To kill a mockingbird

In class on Wednesday we talked about which character in the book inspired us the most. A lot of people said different characters for different reasons, but the one character I picked was Scout. I personally really like Scout so far because she likes to role with the big boys. She’s not afraid of anything except for the Radleys, but that’s exceptional. When I first started to read the book I thought she was a boy, due to her tom boy personality. When I found out that she was a girl, the first thing I said was “awesome!” I can totally relate to her sometimes. Scout doesn’t like guys to think of her as some girl that’s a “wussy” instead she likes to show that she can be just like them. That’s like me, I don’t like guys thinking that they have all the power and that there the ones in charge. Its honestly time for the girls to step up. Scout is only in grade 1, but acts like she’s a grade 5 boy. I think its really cool that she’s herself, and doesn’t care what anyone else thinks.

I agree. Scout is great. Have you finished the book?
